Christmas donation: BAUER AG supports six social institutions
Schrobenhausen, Germany – The Christmas season invites us to pause and reflect on what is important. It is a time when solidarity and charity are particularly noticeable. With this in mind, the annual Christmas donation has a long tradition at Bauer. This year, Bauer is once again supporting local institutions to make a contribution that will have an impact beyond the Christmas season. This year's Christmas donations were handed over at the end of November. A total of 12,000 euros was distributed among six social institutions in the region. Bauer board member Peter Hingott presented each institution with a symbolic donation check for 2,000 euros.
This year's recipients of the donations are: the Steingriff district nursing and care home, represented by Enrico Zein; the Schrobenhausen food bank, represented by Verena Bartelmann; the Regens-Wagner vocational school in Schrobenhausen, represented by Andreas Mueller; Flamingos for Handicap gUG, represented by Stefan Zadrozny, the Caritasverband Neuburg-Schrobenhausen e.V. – Streetwork, represented by Sascha Hellwich and Hans-Peter Wilk, and the Vereinigte Spital- und Leinfelder Stiftung – Altenheim St. Georg, represented by Katrin Antoncic.
The representatives of the institutions took the opportunity to introduce their organizations and report on current challenges. Whether it is supporting people in need or sick people, educational work or caring for senior citizens – the descriptions showed how important each individual initiative is.
The Christmas donation is a thank you to all those who stand up for humanity and solidarity through their work. Peter Hingott emphasizes social responsibility and the important role of local aid organizations: “As a company that is deeply rooted in the region, we see it as our duty to contribute. Especially during the Christmas season, we want to support institutions that do great work every day – often behind the scenes.”
